I have currently been waiting for three weeks for a refund on an item I returned. The item was tracked and delivered to the JD depot in Rochdale. So far I have been asked to send proof of return, which I did. I have been told numerous times my refund is being processed. My last correspondence was to ask for my Paypal email so they could process. I now believe they have no intention of refunding me. The outsourced online customer service is diabolical. Either automated, or basically lying saying the refund is being processed, and then to add insult to injury quickly sending “how did we do?” follow up emails. A sad shame that Hipstore has allowed itself to be swallowed up and ruined by JD SPORTS. I will continue to pursue my refund but I will never buy from HIpstore again. AVOID!

Order was never delivered. Says that they were moving warehoused and order was backlogged. 2 weeks since my order and nothing. Not even one update

Great service from HIP store after bagging an item in their sale.Good communication and update on delivery from placing my order.Item arrived within a few days, well packaged up.

Very poor customer service - first of all my shoes got stuck in the warehouse and I had to call up to get them finally send out to me 2 weeks later. They then told me I would be able to get a refund for the delivery, I wait many weeks and call them multiple times just for them to tell me they can't deal with it and they have to pass on my details to the raffles team. And I hear NOTHING. So there's basically no way of contacting the raffles team if you have an issue. And I never got my refund. Shambolic service.

Ordered a pair of expensive brand trainers to find the front of one was wonky. They didn't have another pair so I had to return and reorder from another company. But my refund is as yet nowhere to be seen. They have proof of return as it has arrived at their hub and I paid via Paypal so one would have thought I should have quite quickly got my money back by now. Not wonderful service is it Hip Store? I don't think I'll be recommending you to anyone, if anything I'll say stay clear. There's no excuse for holding onto customer's money when you've had the items back. 21st April - update. After numerous phone calls and being promised a refund each time. I finally got to speak to someone who said no problem I'll refund you now!! ..while I was on the line! And hey presto within an hour the refund was done. Fantastic.. but why couldn't that have been done 3 weeks ago?? It hasn't altered my opinion though, I really wouldn't recommend Hipstore if you think you might have to do a return. Obviously they need a lot of customer service training.

I've made three purchases with this company, and they sent the wrong item every time. 1/3rd of the customer service team was apologetic, but the others just said "sent it back for a refund". Even though I was told the issue would be fixed in the future, after re-purchasing the issue would be fixed, it was not.It's a shame, they used to be great before JD sports took over.

I recently won a raffle from them. But decided against keeping the shoe, I tried to return them but apparently they have no record of the order number, my email or name which doesn’t make any sense at all. When i try to email them I never receive a reply. Terrible customer service with half a brain cell between them all

You should not shop there

Item sent wasn’t the same item as one I’d ordered! Returned item on my own time, only to be met with copy paste response about 14 day processing times!Customer service is non existent. Will be spending my money elsewhere in future!

ordered on 12th Jan - emailed same day to ask to change size - told it was too late as it was being dispatched - nothing came - tried 6 more times to cancel order as it showed on their own tracking that it had only been submitted - refused to cancel and today 2nd of February I have had an email saying it is being dispatched. Terrible service on all counts - should have cancelled when asked and it has now taken nearly 3 weeks to dispatch - would never use again and advise others not to - appears to be part of JD Sports looking at the PayPal receipt.

Same as everyone seems to be saying. Made an order, took my money, text me everyday to tell me my order is in hand (spammed my email with marketing in the mean time), then told me my order was not in stock and I’ll be getting a refund. Took them two weeks to figure out the item wasn’t in stock? Trash

NEVER NEVER NEVER ORDER FROM HERE. HIPSTORE MY ASSSS!!!!!More like a bunch of jokers who pretend to think they are running a hip store. No customer service but one little upstart who calls and berates you on the phone for using an internal number given by its own employees in the store. All I want to do is cancel and order that they have stated will not arrive till January Phoned all the numbers and all the media sites send you to the number that no one pickes up. And also they all pass the buck. It’s a sham and also the biggest SCAM GOING

Got to be fair ordered before I looked at Trust pilot regarding The Hip Store. Had a little panic when I read these reviews BUT my purchase arrived on time, after good communication and the product was £10 cheaper than any other retailer. Can not fault my experience.

Loads of bad reviews here, so here’s my take, ordered pair of New Order Spezials on Friday, they’ve just turned up 3 days later , all good, well pleased , great service ??
